Don’s Bait and Tackle is proud to offer professional fly casting instruction for both beginner and expert fly fisherman.

Ashley Cornelius our resident fly fishing expert has been providing professional fly fishing courses for over 12 years. Over the years Ashley has taught 100′s of students the art of fly fishing and casting through the creation and management of fly fishing schools and private lessons. Students have participated in schools ranging from beginner, trout specific, and saltwater.  His years as Director of fly fishing operations at the Dallas, Tx Orvis store and Manager of Biscayne Bay Fly Shop have allowed him the ability to fine tune his teaching methods and create a program specific to the individuals he was teaching.

100′s of students participated in schools Ashley created for beginners, Trout, and Saltwater specific aplications. These schools were the corner stone from which Ashley learned how to adabt his teaching methods to specifically match the students desire and abilities.

We are proud to offer customized intstrucion to specifically meet the needs of our students:

1 hour private lesson $60.00

1 hour group lessons $50.00 each (min 2, max 4 people)

Combination land and water lesson  $300.00 ( 1hour on land and 3hours on boat)
